Licensed Veterinary Technician

About the Role
We are looking to hire a licensed veterinary technician who works well with peers, has strong communication skills, and is compassionate towards both people and pets. Our clinic provides compassionate care to dogs, cats, and exotic pets including birds, rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs, reptiles, and more.
Responsibilities
- Animal restraint and patient care
- Client communication and education
- Taking medical histories
- Cleaning and maintaining clinic areas
- Possible receptionist shifts
Requirements
- Licensed veterinary technician
- Experience with Word and Excel
- Comfortable with electronic scheduling and paperless record keeping
- Strong communication skills and compassionate approach
- Some experience with exotic pets a plus
Schedule: Position starts as part-time and includes some Saturday mornings.
